GoCloud’s UK-based data centres are extremely resilient and secure both online and off. To ensure this, and to let you know that you are in safe hands, we comply with the requirements laid out by ISO 27001.
This international standard holds organisations to the highest specifications of information security. But what are these specifications, and what do they mean for the people we work with?
The central requirement that we meet to comply with ISO 27001 is to maintain and continually improve our information security management system (ISMS) in order to keep the information we handle for our partners and clients protected.
This keeps the information held by us available only to the organisations we hold it for, restricting access to the people within those organisations who are allowed to see it. As well as keeping the information secure using encryption and restricted access among other tools, confidentiality is maintained at all times. External parties cannot link accounts or data with end clients without authorisation.
The standard also requires that we maintain the integrity of our systems so that there is never a temporary or restricted failure to meet the requirements above. We ensure that all of our stakeholders have ongoing confidence in our ability to achieve this by consistently monitoring our ISMS’s security standards, and managing the risks that might compromise it so that their outcome is as close to zero as possible.
This is all central to GoCloud’s security practices and our belief in maintaining the safety of the organisations we work with. Although ISO 27001 forms only a part of our overall security practices, it is a major and important one. It is also a simple tool for our partners and clients to use to assess GoCloud’s ability to meet their own information security requirements.
To see what the standard signifies in detail, and to review the exact requirements we are meeting in order to comply with it, find out more about ISO 27001.
GoCloud’s compliance with ISO 27001 guarantees that we meet an internationally recognised high level of information security that is considered suitable for organisations with the greatest needs.
For partners, this means that you can advertise and sell GoCloud to client companies, safe and confident in the knowledge that their needs will be met. The assurances offered by ISO 27001 are also weapons in your sales armoury.
For clients, all of the information security needs that can be reasonably expected to crop up in your use of our system are accounted for, keeping you and your data completely safe.
For us, it represents an ongoing commitment to the highest standards of information security.
