GoCloud announces new Managing Director

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Cloud computing expert GoCloud has announced Matt Nunns as its new Managing Director. Mr Nunns, who was the company’s Technical Director, has been promoted to the position after spearheading a new Partner Programme.

Matt Nunns said: “It’s a really exciting time to be taking over the reins here at GoCloud. More and more people want to have flexible working hours and want to have the ability to work from home or, indeed, wherever they are in the world.

“Having a hosted desktop and working “in the cloud” is the future for all businesses – and our new Partner Programme is helping to roll that technology out to benefit companies of all sizes.”

GoCloud’s Partner Programme offers companies the opportunity to resell their technology or earn a return for referrals. Anyone who becomes a partner receives a percentage of the revenue from the contract for the lifetime of the contract. IT companies also benefit because they don’t have to worry about the capital outlay of the infrastructure which costs hundreds of thousands of pounds.

GoCloud specialise in providing fully virtualised hosted desktops, which are designed to replace the traditional in-house IT infrastructure. Data security and client confidentiality are guaranteed and businesses will benefit by being able to dramatically cut ongoing IT costs and energy bills.

GoCloud’s Partner Programme is open for any company wishing to apply. For more information on becoming a Partner call 0844 745 3822 or visit www.gocloud.co.uk.

Partner Programme in Full Swing

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

IT and cloud computing experts GoCloud’s new Partner Programme is going from strength to strength. The programme offers companies the opportunity to resell their technology or earn a return for referrals.

GoCloud specialise in providing fully virtualised hosted desktops, which are designed to replace the traditional in-house IT infrastructure. Data security and client confidentiality are guaranteed and businesses will benefit by being able to dramatically cut ongoing IT costs and energy bills.

Techincal Director, Matt Nunns, said:
“This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to refer business to us or for an IT company to resell the GoCloud solution under their own name. Either way, anyone partnering up with us will receive a percentage of the revenue from the contract for the lifetime of the contract. IT companies will also benefit because they won’t have to worry about the capital outlay of the infrastructure which costs hundreds of thousands of pounds.”

There are no requirements for specific hardware or software when using the GoCloud Hosted Desktop solution and no need for companies to have a dedicated server room.

Payments can be made monthly, and the service itself is cheaper to run when compared to a hardware infrastructure because businesses use less electricity – so it’s also eco-friendly and will significantly reduce a company’s carbon footprint.

Matt Nunns said:
“We’ve covered all the major considerations – security, privacy, reliability and compliance. It’s a fully managed and fully hosted service, and includes 24/7 IT support, Disaster Recovery and High Availability, which means GoCloud is extremely reliable.”
