GoCloud is a UK-based hosted desktop solutions provider.

Founded in 2009 as part of the Intragroup Ltd family of companies by a joint venture between Intrahost Ltd and Intrasource Ltd, GoCloud specialises in providing fully-virtualised, hosted desktop solutions, designed to replace the traditional, in-house, static IT infrastructure.

GoCloud is an amalgam of the best of its parent companies' IT services. It is a bringing together of Intrahost's hosting skills and Intrasource's expertise as a Managed Solutions Provider in remotely supporting companies' IT infrastructures.

GoCloud is committed to ensuring that all its services are delivered to the highest possible standard, and as such all GoCloud hosted desktop services are managed and supported by teams accredited with Microsoft Gold Partner status, VMware Professional Partner status and Citrix Solution Advisor.

Hosted desktop service

GoCloud provides UK companies with a complete virtual infrastructure service, encompassing all elements of cloud hosting, not just the central "hosted desktop" concept.

The GoCloud hosted desktop service is built upon an enterprise-class, virtual office infrastructure, including hosted Exchange servers, and hosted file servers in addition to the hosted desktops themselves. Each virtual hosted desktop comes complete with Microsoft Office, plus the option to add other required hosted applications, either company-wide or specific to an individual hosted desktop.

All these services are provisioned by GoCloud on a high-availability, Citrix-based infrastructure with a HP SAN backend to guarantee maximum service resilience, whilst maintaining the full flexibility expected of a virtual desktop infrastructure.
